GRRRLY - 2021
This series explored the paradox of the femme fatale archetype. Threatening but alluring. Soft but treacherous. Civilized but embodying all the forces of primeval nature. I wanted to focus on these dissonant qualities and amplify them by using a soft pink feminine colour palette set against a muscular tension unfolding in the narrative.
